Background

Having had an established and successful marketing business for the last 7 years, we found that we needed some outside expertise to help us decide where we wanted to go next. We knew that we could be doing so much more, but were so engrossed in our business that we weren’t really thinking about our long term goals and ultimately what we wanted to achieve both as a business and personally. 

 

How we helped

So in stepped Unearth Solutions with their Company Survival, Fitness and Wellbeing Program. A really great course spread over two weeks that gave us the opportunity to take a break from our everyday work and discover what we wanted out of our business and our lives. It really made us think about what was important to us and our clients and what we wanted our business to be.   

 

The Result

The result has been a much clearer vision of our personal and business future that we keep in the forefront of our minds each and every day.  This makes decision making much easier and also makes sure that we remain focused on what we want to achieve rather than get distracted by minutiae. A4E  

A4e Action for Employment

 

Background

A4E have been running a successful organisation for over 20 years and have helped many people using training courses and advice to improve skills for individuals and teams.  As part of this, A4E have developed a service to help people who are on incapacity benefit and need help to find work.   A4e wanted to take their services to the next level by offering a Well Being package to clients to help lift their motivation and challenge their own thinking. Mark Gradley from A4e, Doncaster invited Jacqueline Chappell from Unearth Solutions to run a motivational workshop called The Discovery Program in order to help people on Incapacity Benefit and give them the drive and focus needed to overcome some real personal issues that have stopped them in the past from achieving their success.  

 

How we helped 

The Discovery Program which was brought to life in the last recession by Joe Mappin, who has worked with numerous high profile people companies, and has been tried and tested over the last 20 years.  It has transformed the lives of many people giving them the sense of well being, focus and inspiration.  The latest program with Unearth Solutions has been tailored to meet today’s challenges and encourages people to increase their potential giving back the control over their future, the responsibility to do well and to make something of themselves.   

 

The Result

 A4e have always helped people in the physical sense but felt that they could make this even better by looking at the emotional and psychological sense to lift people’s spirit and drive to make a difference for themselves.  Most people needed more confidence when it came down to making it happen and Unearth Solutions helped to change their potential and beliefs to do this.  The feedback has been outstanding with people using this as a tool to motivate and inspire their own thinking and to influence others.

Barnsdales Property Consultants

 

 

Background

Barnsdales are a family owned business with Offices in Sheffield, Doncaster and Lincoln.  They have been in business successfully for over 100 years. As part of a restructure, MD Jason Barnsdale knew he wanted to lead the company with a solid team and create the right environment for change.  To do this he needed to develop a new strategy, address the traditional culture and embed a new ethos within the company and searched for external assistance to make it happen. 

 

How we helped

Unearth Solutions worked with the top team on a Strategy and Leading Change programme.  It began with a company wide communication to help create the need for change, followed by a survey to establish the current culture.  This was used to create a values led organisation.  Together the top team have developed their strategic aims and empowered the leaders of the business to set the right direction. 

 

The Result

The result has been an outstanding increase in employee engagement, the programme has brought Barnsdales together as a team.  We have changed the way we work and are much more inclusive when it comes to making decisions.   We are now focussing on meeting our top desired outcomes and values and this has had an effect for our top team with improved communication, better rapport and a shared vision of success for the company, its people, and the services we offer to meet our clients needs.
